Dear ICT Community,

Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) is pleased to announce the 7th ICT Conference, which will be held in Addis Ababa, in parallel with the 7th ICT Exhibition, Bazaar and Conference. This conference will serve as a forum for the sharing of innovative ideas and good practices in ICT.  It is also hoped that it will provide delegates with the opportunity to exchange knowledge, new ideas and research approaches.

Areas of Interest

The conference seeks papers in all aspects of Information and Communication Technology including but not limited to the following topics:

Ø  ICT for Education

Ø  ICT for Micro and Small Enterprises

Ø  ICT for Socio Economic Development 

Ø  ICT for Democratization and Good Governance

Ø  Information Security and Legal matters

Ø  ICT and Gender Empowerment

Ø  ICT Project Management and Sustainability

Ø  Measuring ICT impact and Return

Ø  ICT Localization and/or Standardization

Ø  Challenges and opportunities of ICT in Ethiopia

Submission of Full Papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of not more than six pages in standard IEEE double-column format. A peer review process will be used to evaluate all papers submitted. All papers accepted will be published in the conference proceedings.  Please submit your paper electronically using the EasyChair conference management system using the URL: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=eictac2014

Honorarium

A substantial honorarium fee will be given for all selected papers and top three papers will be awarded.
