PROGRAMME RELEASED FOR THE AFRICA HOTEL INVESTMENT FORUM (AHIF) 2015

We are delighted to release the final programme for this year's Africa Hotel Investment Forum (AHIF).

This year, the conference promising to turn the spotlight on "doing business" in the continent, using data and specially-commissioned research from a wide range of industry experts to illuminate both the challenges and the opportunities.

Top Highlights include:

Sebatstien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of AccorHotels will shed light on how the hotel landscape has evolved and identify the new opportunities for growth. He will also explain how the company is putting digital technology at the heart of its corporate strategy.
Jonathan Ledgard, Head of Afrotech Project at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) who covered unrest and conflict as a correspondent in Africa for the Economist for over a decade will discuss the current state of political risk in Africa, as well as focusing on technology and how accessible, low-cost technologies can help improve distribution and logistics.
Xander Nijnens, Senior Vice President, Head of Hotels & Hospitality Group, Sub-Saharan Africa, JLL, will present the findings of a survey on international investors' sentiments. The survey will highlight some of the most pressing challenges facing hotel investors in Africa.
