Oct 2021 Ambassadors Program – an expression of interest now open

The Institute for Economics & Peace (#IEP) is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2nd cohort of the 2021 IEP #AmbassadorProgram, which is one of the core activities of IEP's #peaceeducation programming.
We welcome you to apply to become an #IEPAmbassador. To register please look for the attached file. I kindly request you to share it in your #network and respective nations' different media platforms to reach as many as possible.  The IEP Ambassador program is a #free program that trains and engages #peacebuilders around the world. The program involves two main components:  1) IEP equips Ambassadors with an overview of the latest #trends in peace and an understanding of the drivers of peace and violence. We have trained more than 2000 Ambassadors from 106 countries on IEP's research, findings and methodology. 2) Ambassadors apply the #knowledge gained. This involves designing and implementing either a peace project or a presentation. Past examples include #socialmedia campaigns, op-ed placement, community workshops, and peace radio programs. IEP provides ongoing support to Ambassadors in carrying out their projects, and Ambassadors are encouraged to adapt the information to their own #regional, #cultural and #professional contexts. The program provides an opportunity for individuals to gain concrete knowledge and resources to help foster peace in their #communities. With a growing global network of ambassadors, the program affords an opportunity for individuals active in peacebuilding to connect with one another through online platforms and develop a greater understanding of IEP's work. The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) Ambassador Program provides peacebuilders from around the world with concrete knowledge and resources to help foster #peace within their networks and communities. This program is a means through which IEP's research is activated. Consisting of #threewebinars with research and figures from IEP, participants are required to utilize their learning from the program in a peace project or presentation. Build a deeper understanding of IEP's work, including the #GlobalPeaceIndex, the #GlobalTerrorismIndex, #systemsthinking and the 8-Pillars of #PositivePeace. Learn #presentation and facilitation skills employable in their own project or presentation. The Workshop:

The aim of these workshops is a combination of the creation of a short comic/graphic novel on the given thematic framework "IMAGINE your world at its best …" by artists such as writers and illustrators (max. 12 participants), but also the personal and individual development through the different input modules.
